DevOps Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps consultant to join our organization. You will be responsible for helping formulate and implement the DevOps strategy, processes, and tools to support our software development and operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage cloud infrastructure, automate processes, and ensure smooth and efficient delivery of our applications and services.


Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute the overall DevOps strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Lead a team of DevOps engineers and provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to support application development and deployment.

  • Establish and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient and reliable software releases.

  • Automate and streamline software development and operational processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, availability, and scalability through effective monitoring and logging practices.

  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement best practices for code versioning, configuration management, and release management.

  • Ensure proper security measures and compliance requirements are implemented throughout the development and deployment processes.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and tools in the DevOps and cloud computing domains, and evaluate their potential benefits and applicability to the organization.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

  • 10+ years working as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.

  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins), and ability to design and implement automated pipelines.

  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks.

  • Expertise in scripting and automation using programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

  • Knowledge of security best practices and ability to implement security controls and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
